Muslims After Midnight is a platform for platonic friendships among Night Owls in Muslim. We connect people who work night shifts, love the late hours, or simply prefer the quiet magic of darkness. Our goal is to build a supportive community where everyone feels safe and respected.

👥 Who Can Join

Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to use our platform. We take this seriously and may verify age at any time.

You Are Welcome Here If:

• You work night shifts (healthcare, security, manufacturing, etc.)
• You're a night owl who enjoys evening activities
• You enjoy fishing, camping, and outdoor activities
• You're looking for genuine friendships, not relationships
• You respect others and follow community guidelines

✅ Acceptable Behavior

We encourage these positive interactions:

• Be Genuine: Use your real information and authentic photos
• Be Respectful: Treat everyone with dignity and courtesy
• Be Supportive: Offer help and encouragement to fellow Night Owls
• Share Interests: Discuss hobbies, work experiences, and local events
• Meet Safely: If meeting in person, choose public places and tell someone where you're going
• Report Concerns: Flag any suspicious or inappropriate behavior immediately

❌ Prohibited Content & Behavior

The following will result in immediate account suspension or termination:

Strictly Forbidden:

• Dating or Romance: No flirting, dating, or romantic requests
• Sexual Content: No explicit messages, photos, or requests for sexual content
• Harassment: No bullying, threatening, or intimidating others
• Hate Speech: No discrimination based on race, gender, religion, sexuality, or disability
• Spam: No mass messaging, promotional content, or repetitive posts
• Fraud: No scams, fake profiles, or deceptive practices
• Illegal Activity: No discussion or promotion of illegal activities
• Personal Information: Don't share your own or others' phone numbers, addresses, or financial info
• Impersonation: Don't pretend to be someone else

• Stay on topic — Night Owl life, hobbies, local events
• No advertising or self-promotion
• Be encouraging and supportive
• Respect others' privacy

🔒 Privacy & Safety Tips

Protect Yourself:

• Never share your home address
• Be cautious about sharing your workplace
• Use the in-app messaging rather than sharing phone numbers
• Trust your instincts — if something feels wrong, it probably is
• Report any suspicious behavior immediately

When Meeting In Person:

• Meet in public places first
• Tell a friend or family member where you're going
• Consider a video call before meeting
• Bring your own transportation
• Don't feel obligated to stay if uncomfortable

🚨 Reporting Violations

If you see behavior that violates these guidelines:

1. Don't Engage: Avoid responding to inappropriate content
2. Use Report Button: Click the report flag on any inappropriate profile or message
3. Contact Support: Email us at support@muslimsaftermidnight.com
4. Block Users: Use the block feature to prevent further contact

All reports are reviewed within 24 hours. We take action against offenders ranging from warnings to permanent bans.

⚖️ Enforcement & Consequences

Violations may result in:

• Warning: For minor first-time offenses
• Temporary Suspension: 1-30 days for serious or repeated violations
• Permanent Ban: For severe violations or repeated harassment

Decisions by our moderation team are final. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines.

We may update these Community Guidelines periodically to reflect new situations or to improve our community. Significant changes will be announced on our platform. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the current guidelines.
